English Wine Week

We were so excited to celebrate English Wine Week this year for the first time with our brand new wines!
English Wine Week, which runs from June 21st to June 29th, 2025, is an annual celebration of English wines and the vineyards, producers, and locations behind them. It’s a chance to explore the quality and variety of English wines, whether at a vineyard, in a retail outlet, or at a restaurant.
Here’s what we got up to!
Discounts and offers
We treated all of our online customers to 10% off all our products with the code *ENGLISHWINEWEEK10*.
Spending over £100 on vouchers would get your gift receiver a free bottle of Supernova Brut and spending over £100 on wine/gin would get you a free Wildshark tote bag!
We also offered £10 off our standard tour & tasting package Mon-Thurs and anyone attending tours Fri-Sun received a £10 voucher to spend in our shop.
Food & Wine Pairing Evening
We combined the best of Kentish produce with Wildshark wine. We headed to two of Elite Pubs’ venues, The Potting Shed and The Wishful Thinker to lead a tutored wine pairing session with delicious dishes from the pub. An amazing evening to learn about our wines, how they’re made and what they pair with best.
Charity Dog Walk
We held our first ever charity dog walk at Wildshark in aid of Stand Up To Cancer UK. Attendees of the walk received a free tipple after the walk and could take part in our raffle with prizes such as a free tour & tasting voucher, a bottle of Bacchus, a doggy hamper and a selection of hampers from our generous suppliers.
Leeds Castle collaboration
We were delighted to be invited by Leeds Castle to provide a pop up of tastings at their restaurant. Diners could enjoy a glass of Wildshark recommended by our wine experts on site. An exciting start to an even more exciting partnership.
Wine Showcasing and social media presence
Each day of English Wine Week, we highlighted one of our wines, it was a great way to share the aroma and tasting notes of each wine – making it easier for you to choose your favourite!
We also ran a competition for one lucky winner to win a Grape Escape voucher. The response was amazing and we were so happy to crown our winner this morning.
An extra treat
We were delighted to have our Pinot Gris win a silver award at the Wine GB 2025 awards. An amazing achievement for us in our first year. Read more on this here.
